Finnish sisters Saara and Laura just came out with their first, menswear-inspired collection of patterns.
You might have discovered them already via the interview they did with Rachel of House of Pinheiro, but if you've been on holiday or you've been away from the computer (or both, like me), these pretties might have escaped you.
So, because they are just starting to invade the blogosphere, I thought to dedicate a post to them and publicly declare your love.
Have you tried them yet? Can't you wait to? You can find all the patterns in the collection here or see the lookbook here.
OMG this pattern company has found a way straight through my heart. I have been drooling over their designs since they launched. Tough part is deciding which one to start with!
ReplyDeleteAhh yes! Would love to try their patterns, but I promised myself I'd sew other ones first before buying new patterns.. Hmm maybe when payday is here?
ReplyDeleteThat's right. I want them all :(
ReplyDeleteI like the designs, they're somehow different from what I've seen, the details make the look.
ReplyDeleteI bought two of their pattern and made one garment out of it. I have to say that as much as I like their style, I don't like the pattern layout. All pattern pieces are overlaid (like in Burda). So not only you have to print and attach the sheets of paper together, but you basically have to draw all pattern pieces separately. Hmm not sure I would buy more Named patterns....
ReplyDeleteI agree, but as I trace all of my patterns anyway (unless they're really small ones), it's not a huge letdown for me. I'm more upset by the text only instructions...
ReplyDeleteHey Anna, I really like their patterns. Going to give one a try this month. Also have an interview and giveaway with them over on my blog at the moment. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in love too. You could make an entire closet just of different 'Named' patterns and never have to make anything else.
ReplyDeleteugh the green dress. *spews rainbows*
ReplyDeleteI love all of these patterns, they are exactly the type of clothes i like wearing! So far I have made the Jamie Jeans!
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!! I've all over these- I want them all!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting the Blair Batwing shirt tomorrow (once I find the right fabric). Can't wait!! x
ReplyDeleteLuurrrrve these patterns. Need an excuse to acquire them though...
ReplyDeleteBeing Finnish I have one guess why they have chosen to layout the patterns overlaying; it's to save paper :)
