Last week I visited Elisa's shop almost by chance and... what a nice surprise! Many new, beautiful patterns! They are all very coherent with Elisa's previous work: clean, simple lines with trendy details. I couldn't resist and purchased a couple... Which are your favorites?
Cut out shoulder dress - So very in trend! |
Peplum skirt |
Minna blouse |
Colorblock t-shirt |
Gathered top |
Yoke blouse |
Maija dress for children - I SO wish this pattern was for adults too! |
Thanks so much for the head's up! I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the Minna blouse. It looks like it would be a wonderful layering top for the winter, and also perfect as a stand along for spring/summer.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever made a Salme pattern before? Curious if it's difficult to print at home... Or if it's easy like the online BurdaStyle which I'm experienced with.
Yes, I made the front pleated dress (http://paunnet.blogspot.com/2011/12/woodcutters-daughter.html) and learnt from experience that the fit on these pattern is quite loose, so bear it in mind (or make a muslin, since I was to lazy to make one!).
DeleteThe pattern is very easy to assemble, much like the Burdastyle ones. The instructions are not too detailed, I wouldn't advise them to a complete beginner (but I didn't have any problem, so I'm sure you won't either!).
My favorite is the peplum skirt, but they are all great...As you wrote: clean, simple lines with trendy details!
ReplyDeleteThat little girls dress is just divine... oh to be that small again!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the cut out shoulder dress last night. It reminds me of Wiksten! But I missed that peplum skirt!
ReplyDeleteThat's true, now I see Wiksten too!
DeleteI bought the cropped blazer, the vest and the sleeveless dress in Jan. Made up the cropped blazer with some suiting remnants I had and saw that it would need fitting and then tossed it aside in favour of more immediate sewing gratification XD. I'll definitely get back to it sometime when I have more time and less to do with it. I agree with you on the fit being fairly loose though-that was the part that needed fitting ;)
ReplyDeleteHope to see the finished blazer eventually!
Deletei bought the yoke blouse & cut out dress. hope to do one of them this weekend! i'm glad you & another noted the fitting issue. thanks:)
ReplyDeleteyay, looking forward to see them! Hope the fits works out well!
Delete*_* che carino l'ultimo abitino!!! Maiodicoperche', perche' queste cose o le fanno solo per bimbe o costano quanto un rene? >_<
ReplyDeleteNon è giusto che i bambini abbiano tutte queste cose carinissime e noi adulti no. SIGH!
